What would spring be without flowers and floral prints!! Those warm winds that hit you and get your soul stirring with excitement for future fun in the sun!! The smell of blooming flowers is always exhilirating. Just like a flower, we are fragile, we need love, self care and an enviornment that allows us to grow!! So breath in the crisp air, learn to be you and keep at it! The best thing to happen may be just an email away!

A floral print with dragons to kick off this blog! Add diamond accessories head to toe!! Keep the textures similar for a seamless look.

Tired of feeling like you have nothing to wear? You have to look at each piece in a different way. This long sleeved bowed neck dress with a frilly tank scrunched up with a hair tie..add a blazer and everything comes together. Don’t get stuck in thinking there’s only one way to wear something.

A little retro floral print gives a whimsical and fun take on a 70’s vibe. Love my “know your designer” earrings by my girls Cece at Jewels by Joan. Pearls are always classic and in style!

Or how about a flash dance vibe to get things done! Dressing down can still be cute!!!

Black accessories frame a flower so well like a still life in a painting….lol I really loved how the flowers looked against the white tights.

A literal take on floral with a larger than life 3-D flower! make the color pop with gray or muted tones. Remind yourself to style your accessories in creative ways! Like this belt that is originally used as a purse strap!

Baroque florals give a regal vibe, but make it spring with an oversized jean jacket!!

Animal Instinct

For me animal print is fun all year round!! It just changes to each season. The color pallet, multi prints and details change as the weather changes. So here are a few takes on how animal print will be seen from me this spring!

Adding a small print with a big print helps to create a great balanced look!! Simple neutral accessories pop!

How about keeping the print focused on the feet and legs. Adding a light pastel keeps the attention on the print!

Go BIG or go home!! Keeping everything large and in charge!! This kind of combo is not for the faint of heart!! It’s a whole mood…I say go for it!

Go the head to toe of the exact same print!! I love a literal take on animal print…like an actual picture of the animal..not the design of their fur!!

Layer your prints with light textures and colors!! A great take on classic meets print!

Neon comes together with tan and brown so well, so why not throw in an amazing easy and comfy kimono from www.Gibby.cc!! Remember no need to keep the kimono how it is advertised, I wore it upside down, tucked and crossed!

Love this silk skirt! Goes so well with all light pinks! The trick to having a great wardrobe is to be able to reinvent the way you style your pieces!

Loved this animal color block look!! Added some silver pops to show off my beautiful small Telfar shopper!! Silver is a definite basic to pretty much go with anything!

Pj look alert!! Ever get pj’s that you think to yourself I could rock these as an outfit? These are from Hot Squash and I am OBSESSED!! I split the set and loved how adding a bit of color in the accessories helped your eyes travel neck bow to purse!

Spring layers

Spring was made for layers. Some days you may need a little sweater, some days are feeling so good with warm winds that just a layer of jewelry is needed! Today we look at how seasons decide for us on HOW…NOT what we should wear!

Let’s start with TWEED!! What an amazing texture it is. Able to keep your temp perfect no matter the weather! Match the colors in the tweed with different hues!

Sometimes there is no need for a jacket, so go with socks! Love how knee highs are so versatile and they can transcend to look like tights!

A trench, without question, is a staple in everyone’s wardrobe, especially for spring! The color is such a neutral and can go with everything! Sometimes you can find trenches in colors that are always a pick me up!

Kimonos are one of those pieces I love to thrift! There is nothing like the quality, fabric and details that make such a statement.

And last but certainly not least….a jean jacket! Light weight but keeps the cold out! Love how a denim comes in so many different colors and styles! NEW or old they are ALWAYS in!

Twilly love

How do you change up looks when you shop your closet? I realize, as many of you do, that accessories can up your look! The star of the show is Twillies, twillies and more Twillies!
