Holiday thanks

As the clock ticks down around the world for Christmas I wanted to send out a special holiday thanks blog to you all!

I appreciate each and every one of you that have supported hinchology and all it has to offer! Whether it’s laughing with or at me, lol when I do a voice over, finding thrills in my frills, so not trying to rhyme, or maybe it’s the truth in my words of life lessons learned.

So I wanted to take a moment and say THANK YOU! From the bottom of my heart thank you for accepting me for me! For all my quirks, for all my sparkle, all my color pops!

So this blog is a thank you note to my fam, and a photo dump for the holidays! It’s last minute but that’s OK! Let’s shop your closet!! Look for like colors in pieces you already have in your closet or similar combinations that can covert into a new style same color pallet!

Let’s start with comfy cozy! Jeans, pleather leggings, ski sweaters and kimonos all the way! Dress them up a little with a pleated skirt. Have fun with metallics and details!

Don’t forget to add in some sparkle and metallics. There’s no right or wrong way!

Last but not least get your prints on! Plaid on plaid, polka dots, don’t stop there play and have fun! If it makes YOU feel good then that’s what to wear!

When pairing prints remember these few rules of thumb, go big and small, matchy matchy or geometric and organic!

Cheers to dressing in what you want and a very happy holiday!

Until next style,

Xoxo,

Nicole

Jumpers and rompers

What are your feelings about jumpers and rompers? They are one of my favorite things to wear any season…until you have to use the bathroom…LOL. Some are easier on and off than others, however the look compares to no other!! They create a streamline affect head to toe that looks flawless and fun!!

I adore going with a monochromatic theme with a favorite color, yes you guessed it, purple!! Love putting purple on purple like my bucket bag with this romper. The purple velvet bucket bag is not available however the white leather bucket is!! Yes Please!!

Other rompers were meant to stand out like this cheetah one!! I found this at Shop Therapy in Northampton Mass for a steal!! Talk about comfort!! Paired with these Target bowed espadrille flats and I felt like I had a winning combo!!

Do you ever just choose a piece for the amazing pattern? I couldn’t resist this pattern. The color pops caught my eye!! I found this at pop up shop in my local mall a few years back. The long sleeves aren’t ideal for summer but if you have a cooler night it is THE perfect romper!!

Then of course there is the more practical romper. This was a fun wear to home depot while buying Hydrangeas to plant!(one of my favorite flowers) Paired it with my fanny pack across my body to keep up with the trends of today which also made it so so wonderful to shop hands free. The visor with the clear brim is genius, acts just like sunglasses!! I grabbed this romper a while ago from Target and this current short sleeve romper is so adorable and at such a great price!!

Talk about genius…have you tried Insomnia cookies!!!??? If you haven’t what are you waiting for!! They are so delightful!! Fresh, warm and oh so many choices!!! I had such a fun time snagging two dozed, buy one get one dozen free, by being on their loyalty program. My absolute favorite is the M&M cookie!! This jean romper was a fun and stylish way to get my sweets on. Pair a simple jumper like this with one color throughout your accessories to balance and connect head to toe!!

Of course if your jumper already has an amazing color and pattern there is little to add. I used my color wheel knowledge to add the head band to compliment the color. I found this at Target and my eye is on their sleeveless Jumper!!

Rompers and Jumpers can be the perfect addition to any season wardrobe!! Pairing details through the pattern creates a head turning look!! In the colder month you can layer with a suit jacket to elevate the look!

Each week there is a new fashion theme here on my blog and if you feel inspired tag me @hinchology and #getahinch!! Let’s inspire together!!!

Until next style!!

xo,

Nicole
