Love is in the air and happy New Year

Hey all my friends! First let me say happy New year! I know it’s been a while, but I have been working on a lot!! Excited to announce that I will be offering private style sessions for those that want to see fashion through my eyes!!! So stay tunes!

Fashion week was nothing short of fabulous!! I have to say I love runway shows, I mean that, the street to me has THE best looks!!

There’s magic in the air during fashion week! Everyone is in the zone, focused on how to wow, inspire and catch attention! There’s nothing too over the top!! Everything goes for me anyday, but especially during fashion week!!

So here are looks that I hope will inspire you to get out of your shell, try something new and make you feel fabulous!!!

Let’s start with color!!! Color of the year is…..Drum roll please!

This color is AMAZING!! A rich gorgeous color that pairs well with so many other colors!! So here is how I see it….versions of this color works just as well!!

You could totally rock this head to toe, or pop it here and there! It’s rich, sexy and comands attention!! Never underestimate the power of color!

Now let’s take a look at opposites of the color of the year, or the complimentary color!

At least if your not into the color of the year you can compliment it!!

Stay tuned for my New York fashion week recap!!

Thank you all for being here, believing in me and here to get inspired!!

Until next style!!!

Xoxo,

Nicole

Color blocked

So as we all witnessed during fashion week and in poplar stores like Zara and express, color pops and blocks are the rave this spring!! Color has always been a must! It brings happiness!! So most days, I’m popping somewhere head to toe with color!

Deep red or ox Blood with mint work so well!! And with no surprise seeing that their origin is green and red which are complimentary colors!! So block them up!!

Plum and emerald for a win! Alternating head to toe..and boom!! Gem colors are fabulous and eye catching in amazing luxurious textures like satin, silks and velvets.  The way the light reflects with these fabrics brings the colors shape and form.

So much fun working with warm colors like pink and rust! Warm colors include red, orange, yellow and any variance of them!! So they Normally work well together!

Another great complimentary pair is purple and yellow!! Compliments work great in all shades, light to dark!!

This look was created from the same pink “skirt” in the previous look! This time I used it as a top layer not a bottom layer.  Take the lightest and darkest shades of one color for a quick block!

Love layers of color. I used the beautiful navy sleeveless blouse backwards to give a sweater vest feel.

Would love to see your color blocks!! Tag me @hinchlogy and #getahinch and #hinchology to be featured in my stories to connect with other like minded people!

Until next style,

Xo,

Nicole
