Welcome to my Fall

The start of a new school year, fashion week, pumpkin lattes (if that’s your thing…sorry but no thanks) a new position after 19 years at work, leading the continuation of my fathers legacy, and all along looking stylish has made fall a very busy season.

The point I’m trying to make is that we all go through things, whether they are apparent to others doesn’t make them any less importance.

For me when I get dressed it makes me feel ready to take on my day! To inspire others! When others tell me that my dances made them smile or laugh…I am so all about that!! Wouldn’t you rather make someone feel uplifted, alright to be themselves rather than put someone down, make them feel bad!?

It’s harder to be and find kindness…WHY? Because we are human! Practicing to be authentic, kind, caring and inspiring is work…EVERYDAY! Let’s face it not everyday is that kind of day! So on those days we remind ourselves that we are struggling and trying our best and to be kind, caring and compassionate!

With that being said I have gathered some of my favorite looks and products of fall must haves this fall! To help inspire you to feel your best, to give your best!

Let’s start with Tee’s! These are easy go to pieces because they can be layered, dressed up with a tulle skirt , layered over a fancy dress, the sky is the limit! Obviously they are great for dressing down with jeans…keep scrolling you’ll see my takes!

Sweaters are a staple in the fall and a vest will be the perfect transition from the warm days to cold nights. You can never go wrong with Houndstooth!! Don’t you agree!?

The Grey knit and sparkle silver metallic boots tied together the warm tones of autumn like orange, burgundy and of course a plaid print in the mix.

Mix sweater dresses with fun upbeat prints like cheetah! Add a houndstooth with creamy fun textures! Add some graphic college style sweatshirts to create great collard shirt layers and Jean Friday’s!

Let’s talk pops! Like these pink hunter boots! I found them in the kids section on the Bloomies web site! A little color can go a long way with the right pieces.

Heel pops and neck bows! These are great places in any look to add your color pop!! Especially if your wardrobe may not be so colorful yet.

Now let’s talk texture! From real leather to faux what would fall be without them? Lace brings a romantic twist while feathers fly in with whimsy and fun!

So excited to have announced that I will be an affiliate with Courtney Adele! Her pop corn was gone before I could even take the picture LOL!!! Tea time and coffee breaks will NEVER be the same again once you step into the Olbali family products, something for everyone.

My foot has been feeling so much better with the Olbali hemp cream. My go to fragrance is called ‘Rose of no man’s land’ by Byredo. These new amazing metallic and matt eye shadows by Tarte I picked up at Ulta and I am crushing over them!!

So excited to be back in the swing if things! I will be sending a blog out quarterly, definitely and on occasion to introduce this amazing community with things I think will bring you inspiration, laughs and of course fun Style!!

Thanks for being here!!

Until next style,

Xoxo,

Nicole

Fall color vibes

Being an art teacher I naturally appreciate fall for all of it’s marvelous colors!!! It is such an amazing time of the year to take an adventure to your favorite apple orchard! Hop on a hay ride and grab a roasted corn on the cob! (MMMM…. I can smell it now!) What is on your fall pallet? This week let’s explore our closets to highlight this seasons best colors!!

PINK!!!! One of the IT colors that you can see on the runways of Chanel for their fall/winter collection. I’m fine with that! Pink is an uplifting happy color to me! I am drooling over this Chanel small diamond bag! The shape is a sign of a design icon. My gucci camera bag is an oldie but a goodie. The cross-body bags have to be my favorite style of purse, especially perfect for all the fall fun outings! It keeps your hands free to score the biggest pumpkin on the farm.(or at BJ’s..LOL!whatever works)

Neutrals are always a staple that any fashionista NEEDS in their wardrobe. (Remember rainbow to me can be a neutral..heehee!!) Tan monochromatic will create a chic and elegant vibe! Love cuffing wide leg linen pants for a harem feel. These j.crew linen pants would be perfect! Add pearl anything to this creamy and rich color pallet to put the exclamation point on your outfit!!

For those that don’t know Purple is my all time favorite color, however pink is always a close runner up. I layered a tulle baby doll dress with a pencil skirt to create a mermaid tail fit. Lavender is all the rage for this season, pop it in with accessories, or go all out head to toe. Check out this lavender dress of perfection from Ann Taylor!! This dress can be kept in your wardrobe ALL year round to layer or wear alone! (your welcome LOL)

What would a fall fashion pallet be without rust and orange hues? Not to mention amazing textures such as suede. When using monogram pops they tie the look together. This Michael Kors logo top would be a perfect neutral addition.

Marigold will brighten and uplift your fall style! This Gap dress would pair perfectly with my amazing Eric Micheal white leather tennis sneakers! They create a fun dressed down look. My burlap bag was hand created by my friend Trina of @t_cfantacy . Her craftsmanship is impressive. The perfect pumpkin picking bag. Be sure to follow her fabulous daily fashion inspos!!!

Love bringing fresh cool colors into fall. They pair and compliment orange and yellows so naturally! (Or in this case a fun match with a home in my neighborhood!) If you are looking to pop some cool tones into your look this fall try this Walmart pleated A-line skirt!

No matter what colors are in your fall pallet remember that YOU are the artist and the sky is the limit for creative color combos and unexpected pops!!

What are your favorite colors in your fall wardrobe!?..Will you be adding a new hue this season? Inspire with #getahinch and @nhinchology

Until next style,
