Welcome to my Fall

The start of a new school year, fashion week, pumpkin lattes (if that’s your thing…sorry but no thanks) a new position after 19 years at work, leading the continuation of my fathers legacy, and all along looking stylish has made fall a very busy season.

The point I’m trying to make is that we all go through things, whether they are apparent to others doesn’t make them any less importance.

For me when I get dressed it makes me feel ready to take on my day! To inspire others! When others tell me that my dances made them smile or laugh…I am so all about that!! Wouldn’t you rather make someone feel uplifted, alright to be themselves rather than put someone down, make them feel bad!?

It’s harder to be and find kindness…WHY? Because we are human! Practicing to be authentic, kind, caring and inspiring is work…EVERYDAY! Let’s face it not everyday is that kind of day! So on those days we remind ourselves that we are struggling and trying our best and to be kind, caring and compassionate!

With that being said I have gathered some of my favorite looks and products of fall must haves this fall! To help inspire you to feel your best, to give your best!

Let’s start with Tee’s! These are easy go to pieces because they can be layered, dressed up with a tulle skirt , layered over a fancy dress, the sky is the limit! Obviously they are great for dressing down with jeans…keep scrolling you’ll see my takes!

Sweaters are a staple in the fall and a vest will be the perfect transition from the warm days to cold nights. You can never go wrong with Houndstooth!! Don’t you agree!?

The Grey knit and sparkle silver metallic boots tied together the warm tones of autumn like orange, burgundy and of course a plaid print in the mix.

Mix sweater dresses with fun upbeat prints like cheetah! Add a houndstooth with creamy fun textures! Add some graphic college style sweatshirts to create great collard shirt layers and Jean Friday’s!

Let’s talk pops! Like these pink hunter boots! I found them in the kids section on the Bloomies web site! A little color can go a long way with the right pieces.

Heel pops and neck bows! These are great places in any look to add your color pop!! Especially if your wardrobe may not be so colorful yet.

Now let’s talk texture! From real leather to faux what would fall be without them? Lace brings a romantic twist while feathers fly in with whimsy and fun!

So excited to have announced that I will be an affiliate with Courtney Adele! Her pop corn was gone before I could even take the picture LOL!!! Tea time and coffee breaks will NEVER be the same again once you step into the Olbali family products, something for everyone.

My foot has been feeling so much better with the Olbali hemp cream. My go to fragrance is called ‘Rose of no man’s land’ by Byredo. These new amazing metallic and matt eye shadows by Tarte I picked up at Ulta and I am crushing over them!!

So excited to be back in the swing if things! I will be sending a blog out quarterly, definitely and on occasion to introduce this amazing community with things I think will bring you inspiration, laughs and of course fun Style!!

Thanks for being here!!

Until next style,

Xoxo,

Nicole

One jacket….3 ways

Sometimes you just find a piece that is so super easy to create multiple looks with!!! So here’s a blazer that has a pop of it’s own!

If you wonder why this purple and yellow goes so well together that’s easy, they are complimentary colors on the color wheel. Loved how the butterfly clips gave a magic moment with these fabulous gloves! It’s all about the details for me in this look!

So hard to not add purple with this jacket…this time with tulle and a bit of my favorite school girl vibe!! Don’t worry I will change it up for the next look…promise!!

Grab that long Maxi skirt, make it a strapless, cinch your waist with a belt! Added metallic pops help your eye moving head to toe!

So find a jacket that you just can’t get enough of and layer it up before spring is gone!

Until next style,

Nicole

Poppin in the New Year

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Wow… SOOOOOO excited to be posting the first blog post of the year!!!! A New Year filled with promise and hope! Have you created a new years resolution or a goal for 2021? My focus is on giving back, having fun, being authentic and doing it in style! So today we will find different ways to elevate your look for 2021 by popping color into any style!!

Pink is one of my favorite colors!! (also a purple lover) For this pop I started with the pattern!! I loved that the plum Lele headband matched with the brown in the Lion print top. Pulling out the hot pink in the vest and the boots! Layer stack and stagger!! Even though they are not the perfect match of pinks I like the different values together!! Remember if you like it try it!! HAVE FUN!! Try this Old Navy vest in dusted chocolate that can be a great pop with grey and white layers!! (p.s. these hunters are kids)

This look is part of the give back in my New Years focus! This gifted Regina Herman Naomi bag in Camel, talk about being OBSESSED!! Not only is the bag so super luxe and soft (watch for the reveal on my insta) it is a purchase with purpose!! Select a charity that a percent of your purchase will go to!! Pop your collar with a pin knowing that you just helped someone!! I can’t think of anything more stylish!! AND for the month of January use code: JAN2021 for 15% off all bags!

As some of you know Pantone announced their colors of the year in December! Drum roll please…..Grey and Yellow!! Keep the pop simple by adding a hoodie that is a pick me up color and pair it with grey for a up to date color trend! Try this Old Navy heather grey blazer! The perfect tone to transition into spring!

Being authentic to your style is wearing pins through your tights! Get creative and enjoy the process!! I am excited to announce that I created this tulle skirt…still working on my craftsmanship however I am more than happy with my creation!! Not up to creating your own? Try Walmart’s 7-layers tulle skirt in so many colors and such a great price!! Pair them with Shein’s amazing floral lace tights to be able to add brooches for details!

Winter tie dye……YES PLEASE!! Pulling colors out from the mix and adding a neutral like creams and pearls balances the look. Shein’s amazing tie dye blazer would be great paired with jeans or pleather capris, better yet belted and worn as a dress!

If your wardrobe is in need of a bit more color pop start with a scarf! This Kurt Geiger scarf at Nordstrom will go great with all basics. Check out these amazing crochet earrings hand crafted by The Buttery Villa . Supporting artists not only helps communities but also creativity!!

Get your layers on this winter! Gold pops and colorful beads can accent an already wild and fun print pop. This kaftan will make a great beach cover up in the summer but for now a great side knotted dress to show off some leopard boots. Walmart has 17 INSANE amazing Kaftans that make the possibilities endless!

Make this year your year! Feel good inside and out. Try something new, or old in a new way!! NEVER let anyone but yourself define who you are or how you have to dress!! After all style is how we tell the world who we are!! Getting ready helps to feel good and when we feel good we give the best of ourselves!!
