As a Mom, wife and full time elementary Art teacher, having a 5 minute costume is a must. Now don’t get me wrong I do enjoy a head to toe costume but a work day outfit turned costume is more my speed! Are you in need of a quick fix? If you are like me these quick costume suggestions will have you ready under 5 minutes to walk down the road and get some yummy treats.!
With the cooler weather here I love layering!! The last thing I want to do is walk around getting candy shivering. This mummy costume will help with that!! I added my dupe Fendi shades for a little glam and some gauze stripes that I grabbed at dollar tree. Cut the gauze into strips and tie them all around….voila you are mummified. These cream trouser pants from Express would be perfect for this costume, and a wonderful addition to your fall to winter wardrobe.
Gravitating to fall colors, orange, brown and purples, was what caught my eye for this fox mask and feather boa. Layer up with some fingerless knitted gloves to be sure to grab your favorites from the candy bowl. If you are feeling this fox start the day with this J.Crew orange dress .
Halloween in years past have always fallen on days that I am running from teaching to trick or treating. This witch is perfect if you have work before Halloween fun starts and want to be ready in minutes to enjoy family memories!! AND be dressed to do so. Start with this purple dress from H and M…..it has a definite witch vibe!!
The ring master may be my favorite because of my fur baby Chubbs!! Finding this little hat clip brought my mind to the circus right away. Add a glitter metallic hula hoop from the dollar tree, you are ready for the big top! Try this red jacket from Walmart for just the touch to call for attention!
As you all know I love a head to toe cheetah look….so I thought why not turn that into a Cat. The adorable necktie, tail and headband WITH Ears was so worth the $1 I paid! Pair it with Kathleen Benham earrings hand made from Australia and you will be the treat of the group!
Dia de los muertos….day of the dead !! What an incredible way to celebrate ancestors and give heeling and hope, a negative into a positive!! With my embroidered dress from Mexico, skull headband and colorful flowered mask….look complete!! Walmart embroidered dress comes in all different colors to really make an entrance.
