What better time of the year to wear fruit prints than the summer, right!? When I put on a fruit print it instantly brings a smile to my face and a happy vibe to my outfit. The whimsy of wearing these prints is like no other!! You are guaranteed to smile while wrapped in fruit!!

What are some of your favorite fruits for summer!? I could eat watermelon and pineapple everyday!! That’s why when I found this dress in the girls department at Walmart I had to grab it!! Getting the largest size they had in girls was 14. I usually wear a small or medium in woman’s. Sometimes you can get lucky enough to find a girls size up to 16 which gives a bit more room. The cuts are a bit different fitting because lets be real they are made for a child, so sizing up is a good idea! If you find it hard to get the girls clothes to fit right at least be sure to check the fun accessories!! Am I the only one that shops in the girls department?

This head to toe oranges dress was also from the girls department at Walmart!! Though these dresses are sold out I do have this Yellow and blue striped dress in my cart right now!! The cut is loose and flowing so I know it will fit my curves!!

This banana dress is from last year at old navy. The newer version of this dress is just as fantastic!! Black and white leaves crew neck dress is on such a great deal and is perfect to add colorful fruit accessories to create a fun summer vibe!!

Speaking of fruit accessories, my pineapple print eternity scarf from Walgreens worked perfect when I pulled the green and white from the print. Sometimes there is no need to add multiple accessories if the print is fun enough!! The black and White Scarf that is available right now at Walgreens can be used in so many different ways.

Not only do I like a good headscarf I also love to wear hats and add embellishments like the pearl head band from Bougie bands. This pineapple shirt is from the boys section at the gap. Even though the boys tee’s had nothing as juicy this season the girls watermelon heart tee is cute to pair with jean shorts!! I love bright and colorful patterns and sometimes you get a bit more of that in the kids sections!

Bright color pops always catch my eye and so do a stack of french macaroons from trader joe’s (heehee). If you don’t know this about me they are one of my favorite desserts. I thought it would be fun to bring out my antique straw basket purse that was gifted from my pop, it reminded me of a huge macaroon. Pairing it with my DIY Crayola model magic fruit necklace and my sparkle Mulberry and Grand pants made for a fun afternoon!! These cream lounge pants would give the same wonderful look.

In my eyes ANYTHING purple is a yes….its’ my favorite color!!! Walmart delivered again from the girls section!! My purple dress is not available anymore however this pineapple sunglass print tank dress is and such a great pick for these hot humid days!
