The Beginning…

Thanks for joining me from the beginning!

I am so excited that this day has come!  Starting a fashion “something” has been on my list of things to do for a while.  When I lost my Father this year the thought of “what’s next?”…and “what else do I want to pursue while I am able and willing” were a few of the questions that pushed me to start my very own blog.  Being an art teacher and mother has filled my heart with gratitude and creativity which is the very essence of this blog.

Hinchology came to mind while putting unlikely combinations of fashion together. People would ask “Where are those earrings from?” When my answer would be some place like Walmart or Target their face would be puzzled and they would say…”with Chanel???”  That’s when I knew I wanted to share and inspire what makes me get excited about fashion.

I absolutely love playing with textures and colors.  The brighter the better, the more tulle the happier.  I love using pieces in different functionalities like the picture below.

I am looking forward to keeping a blog that helps people use their clothes in different ways for different purposes. I do believe that when you see things in a  different perspective anything is possible. Hope you will join me in this fun journey about fashion, art and having fun!!

The begining

Hinchology came to mind when putting unexpected outfits together. I love to mix up brands that may otherwise never meet. I refer to the elements, principals and colors of art to influence my everyday looks.

  1. Nicole, you are one of a kind at our school and always have been from the start. My mother is an artist and fashion is a huge part of her life. She always has on “quirky” outfits. Next time she comes over I want to show her your blog and all your fashion looks on my big desk top computer. I know she will enjoy it as much as she would enjoy you!

  2. I absolutely love your fashion choices and the bold way you play with colors, patterns and textures. I can’t wait to read all about it in your new blog!
